March

Buddha’s teachings give us many practical methods to solve our daily problems. By learning from the things we see, everything that arises in our life can teach us something beneficial and help us improve our mind and our good qualities. Using daily challenges as a special training, we can grow our inner strength and confidence. Eventually we will enjoy a flexible and happy mind.

In-Depth Buddhism - Walking a Different Path

These classes offer an opportunity to improve your understanding of Buddha’s teachings and deepen your level of practice. Each class is self contained  and explores a different topic. Suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners, drop in any week.

Topics & Dates

Drop-in any Thursday night for an in-depth commentary to the teachings and meditations from the book, The Mirror of Dharma with Additions by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

This book gives practical advice on how we can solve our daily problems of uncontrolled desire, anger and ignorance, and how to make our human life meaningful. When we understand the causes of real happiness, we can understand the correct method for accomplishing it and therefore the great value of Buddha’s teachings.

Suitable for everyone, the class provides an opportunity to deepen our understanding and experience of both Buddha’s teachings and the meditations presented in this book.
