A World of Kindness

A Half Day Online Meditation Retreat
Sat 30 May · 10am-1pm · $20
‘Everything we have and everything we enjoy, including our very life, is due to the kindness of others. In fact, every happiness there is in the world arises as a result of others’ kindness.’ – Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

On this half day retreat, Resident Teacher Kelsang Monlam will give teachings and guided meditation on the kindness of others, which causes a deep gratitude and a feeling of love and happiness to arise in our heart. Through improving our own good heart with this practice, a world of kindness will begin to appear to us – until everywhere we look, we see only the kindness of others.

What to expect at a half day retreat

Half day retreats are a special opportunity to take a little time out to be guided in meditations and receive practical teachings that focus on developing a particular positive state of mind. Putting this time aside allows us to take the teachings and meditations deeper into our heart and gives us the space to better contemplate what we have learned.
