WHY MEDITATE? Meditation is a method for developing and maintaining peace of mind. Through training our mind using meditation we become more calm and relaxed and better able to cope with life’s difficulties.

This 7 day Challenge will present a ‘Toolkit for a Happy Life’, covering such topics as mindfulness, anxiety and finding meaningful relationships.

The Challenge will be guided by several qualified teachers, sharing clear and practical advice from personal experience of these meditations.

All sessions in the Challenge are drop-in (no need to book) and you can attend as many as you wish. No prior knowledge or experience is required. Everybody is welcome.

These evening sessions offer the chance to learn how to train in meditation. As our mind becomes more peaceful through this practice, we develop the ability to stay happy and positive all the time, even in the most difficult circumstances.

Each class is drop-in and stands on its own merits – you don’t need to attend the entire course. Sessions will consist of two guided meditations, simple instructions on how to meditate and advice on how to keep the peace of mind you develop in meditation. There is plenty of opportunity to discuss and ask questions. No special clothes are needed and you are welcome to sit in a chair or on a cushion on the floor. After class you are welcome to stay for a chat over tea. There is a shop at each class selling books, CDs and other items.
