Developing Spiritual Power

blessing empowerment of buddha vajrapani

Saturday 24 November » 10am – 4.30pm

Vajrapani is the embodiment of spiritual power. By relying upon him we energise our spiritual practice, giving us the inspiration and confidence to control our mind. This will enable us to develop the inner power to overcome the obstacles and hindrances of daily life and make successful progress in our spiritual path.

Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Dawa will grant this empowerment in the morning session. An empowerment is a blissful guided meditation through which we make a close connection with an enlightened being, developing their good qualities. In the afternoon, he will give teachings on the power of the mind. He will teach how transforming our mind is essential if we are to learn to be happy and peaceful all the time, and how to receive Buddha Vajrapani’s help to do this.
